FAST Splashes Into the New Year

Fullerton, CA -- Last Saturday NAG, Senior, and National group swimmers raced for the first time in 2025. Despite just finishing an outstanding period of heavy winter training, 39 swimmers posted best times and 23 new National Age Group time standards were achieved!

- New "B" times - 2
Nine swimmers achieved best times in all of their races. Congratulations to Dongjoon Kim, Aileen Lee, Kaitlyn Nguyen, Jisoo Park, Victoria Ruge, Finn Shook, Miranda Stocco-Guia, Nicholas Trobaugh, and Declan Wang!
Thirty other swimmers achieved one or more best times throughout the day. Hats off to Nataly Agnew, Evni Bandara, Elizabeth Barnhart, Mia Carley, Laiora Cohen, Lucy Delgado, Ellie Guayan, Lily Guevara, Katie Ho, Kevin Ho, Tyler Huey, Shae Kennedy, Dylan Khajavi, Gregory Kim, Sawyer Le, Sophia Lee, Yejun Lee, Luke Leon Guerrero, Jennifer Noh, Hudson Pak, Mykel Park, Rhett Parker, Rohan Parker, Laura Perez Redondo, Amin Shah, Morganne Wanke, Olivia Woodward, Caleb Yoo, Kevin Yum, and Lucas Zhang.
The largest time improvement of the meet for the girls was turned in by Jisoo Park from the Senior 1 group. Jisoo cut 21.39 seconds off her 500 Freestyle time for a lifetime best 6:25.84.
The largest time improvement of the meet for the boys was turned in by Luke Leon Guerrero from the National group. Luke cut 8.16 seconds off his 200 Back time for a lifetime best 2:08.50.
The swimmers will now focus on preparation for their upcoming winter championship meets. Stay consistent with attendance and effort -- the meets will be here before you know it!
