FAST Kicks Off Long Course Season with Annual Distance Dogfight
Fullerton, CA -- FAST kicked off the Long Course season at the Janet Evans Swim Complex with our traditional Distance Dogfight freestyle meet. We run this meet to kick-start Long Course racing, provide opportunities for the distance Freestyle events (400, 800, 1500), and introduce younger swimmers to those events.
FAST swimmers achieved 118 lifetime best times and tallied 70 new USA Swimming National Age Group Motivational Times!

For Evni Bandara, Starry Cho, Iris Chowtham, Laoira Cohen, Lucy Delgado, Dongjoon Kim, Yena Liu, Sophia Lee, Sara Neesen, Jennifer Noh, and Mykel Park this was the first Long Course meet in which they swam distances over 100 meters. Great work, everyone! Nineteen swimmers raced new distance events for the first time.
