IMPRESSIVE SHOWING AT FIRST FAST INVITE OF THE SEASON

Fullerton, CA -- One hundred sixty FAST swimmers competed at our home pool last Saturday.  We welcomed competitors from the Long Beach Rocketfish and Santa Maria Swim Club.  This was the very first swim meet for many of our swimmers -- congratulations!  Overall, FAST swimmers posted 83 lifetime bests and 253 first-time swims in new events! 

 

Forty FAST swimmers achieved best times in all of their races.  Congratulations to Chase Angderson, Aubrey Dippold, Leandro Espiritu, Katie Ho, Kevin Ho, Tyler Huey, Rebecca Jacobs, Vera Kwan, Kaitlyn Kao, Allison Kim, Claire Kim, Dongjoon Kim, Ezekiel Kim, Gregory Kim, Jayden Kim, Kaylee Kim, Yena Liu, Aileen Lee, Jamie Lee, Jordan Lin, Olivia Maldonado, Jennifer Noh, Zoe Pagkatipunan, Bryce Pak, Jisoo Park, Mykel Park, Stella Park, Rhett Parker, Bradwell Phung, Ashley Sanchez, Nicholas Trobaugh, Aiden Villanueva, Cadis Wang, Evangeline Wanke, Morganne Wanke, Allan Webber Arias, Alice Woodward, Core Woodward, Lucas Zhang, and Luwen Zhang!

 

The largest time improvement for FAST on the girls' side was posted by Aileen Lee who cut an astounding 1 minute and 43.38 seconds off of her previous time in the 500 Freestyle.  Her final time of 6:42.40 was a new B time!

 

The largest time improvement for FAST on the boys' side was turned in by Gregory Kim.  He dropped an impressive 40.51 seconds in the 200 Fly for a final time of 2:32.44 which was a new B time!

 

FAST swimmers achieved 36 new National Age Group time standards:

• 15 new B times
• 16 new BB times
• 3 new A times
• 1 new AA time
• 1 new AAA time
