CLOVIS AGE GROUP CHAMPS GROUP RACES TO 155 LIFETIME BESTS

Clovis, CA -- Thirty-eight FAST swimmers traveled to Clovis to compete in the Central California Age Group Championships, February 13-16, 2026.  Every FAST swimmer earned lifetime bests for a team total of 155 best times!  This was the first travel experience for many of our swimmers and they did an outstanding job!
 
Results were highlighted by 43 new USA Swimming National Age Group Motivational Times:
  • 1 new AAAA time
  • 8 new AA times
  • 11 new A times
  • 19 new BB times
  • 4 new B times
Sophia Lee & Hannah Zajc both raced to best times in all of their individual events.  Congratulations, ladies!
 
The largest time drop of the meet for the girls was posted by Katie Ho in the 400 IM.  Katie's final time of 5:17.02 was an improvement of 19.64 seconds and earned her 6th place overall in the event.
 
The largest time drop of the meet for the boys was posted by Mykel Park in the 400 IM.  Mykel's final time of 4:33.50 was an improvement of 8.71 seconds and earned him 1st place overall in the event.  It was a very exciting race!  From the backstroke leg to the end, Mykel was head-to-head with Mikey Kloefkorn (of South San Francisco Aquatics).  Mykel made a move on the freestyle to pull ahead and raced tough for the win.
